Linny was a registered nurse, author, and storyteller whose writing captures the profound journey from childhood hardship to professional triumph and quiet sanctuary.

Born in Windsor, New South Wales, and raised across England, coastal New Zealand, and the Australian Outback, her life has been shaped by deep resilience, a love for the land, and an enduring connection to the soil.

After overcoming severe early adversity, Linny made the courageous leap into higher education as a mature-age student at thirty-eight, returning to the Hawkesbury region to graduate from the University of Western Sydney and dedicating her career to healthcare.

Today, Linny lives in Queensland, surrounded by eucalyptus air, wildlife, and family. Her two-part memoir series offers readers an intimate, deeply moving account of breaking generational cycles, mastering medicine, and proving that it is never too late to reclaim your narrative and build a sanctuary of your own.
